Therapy What Is NLP As A Therapy? Neurolinguistic Psychotherapy (NLPt) is a model of therapy, which focuses on solutions to the presenting problem. It is based on the philosophy that our past constructs our world, and therefore influences our present. Those negative elements, which make up the client’s current problem then can be sourced, and the pattern which has created the present difficulty detected. Does this sound like Karma? It is! NLP as a therapy can assist you change your Karma. Once the pattern is identified the client is enabled in a safe and fully owned way to change their construct from the past, and to create a new bright future. How Long Does It Take? It depends on the presenting issue. The majority of clients need six to twelve sessions at most with this type of therapy. Longstanding problems, for example chronic health issues, may need up to twenty sessions, spread over a period of time. Susi is a BUPA recognised provider. What Kind Of Problems Does NLPt Work For? Craig & Susi are very experienced psychotherapists. A former general practitioner, Susi’s speciality is in the field of health issues, both mental and physical. Craig’s area of expertise is in hypnotherapy in addition to his psychotherapy caseload. Issues such as Weight Loss, Smoking, and Phobias are often managed by a combination of hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. Craig & Susi both deal with a variety of problems including stress, anxiety, depression, family issues, relationship difficulties and abuse of all kinds. Addictions are best dealt with by specialist teams. How Do I Know I Will Be Professionally Cared For? Susi & Craig are both UKCP registered and are required by their governing bodies to abide by a strict Code of Ethics. Each is regularly and separately supervised by their supervisors who are both very experienced. If you are not fully satisfied this will be fully explored with you. It may be that a therapist from a different modality may be more to your liking. The first consultation is set aside for the problem to be explored and the decision to proceed or not is made by both client and therapist. If no contract is made for further sessions, there is no charge. All our records are stored in compliance with data protection law. Any telephone contact is treated with the utmost confidence. All consultations are by appointment. How Much Will It Cost? Our charges vary depending on client circumstances. Neurolinguistic Psychotherapy is a form of brief therapy and most clients need no more than eight to twelve sessions. Will My Life Be Different? This form of therapy is life changing.
